Grilled Salisbury Steak

grilled salisbury steak


from Kimmy’s Kitchen

2 lbs ground beef or sirloin I recommend using 80%, 85 or higher tend to get dry
1 small onion minced fine
1 tbs olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup bread crumbs or 3 slices of torn bread soaked in milk
1/4 cup milk only if using bread crumbs
1 jar of your favorite beef gravy, I like Hunts in a jar Savory beef
8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms (optional)

Cook onions in olive oil until translucent.
Combine onions with ground sirloin, garlic powder, bread crumbs(or bread) milk, mix but be careful not to over mix which can make it dry.
Grill on high heat just to brown the outside, @ 2-3 min per side
Add them to a baking dish along with the gravy and mushrooms, bake in the oven for an additional 15 min on 350f or until done.

Great with mash for the family or like me, mashed cauliflower and your favorite veg!
