Did you know that you can convert recipes for bread machines to bake in your oven? Yes, I do it often!
A guide I follow is this:
350° for 30-40 min for recipes that are not moist. Such as wheat, white, honey, cinnamon, carrot/raisin bread, etc.
350° for 45-55 min for recipes that are moist. Such as banana bread, zucchini bread, pumpkin bread, applesauce bread, etc.
I have also found that sometimes turning it up to 400° and reducing the time works, too.
When doing this for the first time, keep an eye on the bread to make sure it doesn’t dry out from baking too long. For example instead of checking it at 30 min, check it about 20-25 min. Instead of checking at 45 min, check it at 35-40 min instead.
NOTE: This may or may not apply to all recipes from bread maker books. Sometimes it is a matter of trial and error. Just be willing to experiment a little and you will be able to get great success!
