Easy Beef Stew

easy beef stew
This recipe is easy and can be made in 90 minutes. Can be made with chicken.

Brown on medium heat 1 pound of Stew Beef (Chicken) with 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a Dutch Oven Pan.
Once its brown add the following cut into 1 inch chunks (or your desired size):
4 stalks of Celery
1 medium onion
1 green pepper
Keep heat at medium and cook veggies till tender.
Then add:
One 15 oz. canned potato (cut in quarters)
One 15 oz. canned slice carrots
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of parsley
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
One bay leaf
Add 4 cups of hot water
2 beef (chicken) bouillon cubes or 1 tablespoon of beef (chicken) base
Allow to simmer to join all flavors about 30 to 45 minutes.
While this is simmering:
in a bowl whisk 1 1/2 cup of water and 4 tablespoons of flour.
Once it has simmered slowly add the flour mixture and stir as it thickens.
Simmer for about another 30 minutes.
Serve and enjoy. Makes about 6 servings.
