Frozen fruit of your choice (I like mixed berries) – enough to cover the bottom 1/4 of your jar;
1/2 to 2/3 cup vanilla flavoured Greek yogurt (or plain if you prefer);
1 Tbsp. toasted slivered almonds (or ground flaxseed).
1 Tbsp. Chia (optional)
Layer all ingredients in the jar, starting with the fruit, then yogurt and top with toasted nuts. This is best prepared the night before and stored in the refrigerator – giving the fruit the chance to thaw.
This is a great light tasting breakfast, but the nuts and greek yogurt give you some feel-full protein to keep you going! Enjoy!!
