Corn Bread Casserole

SHARE this easy dinner idea!!

You will Need:
1/2 lb of ground beef
1/2 lb of ground pork
1 3/4 cup of frozen corn(thawed)…could use canned if you don’t have frozen…
1 cup of water
1 envelope au jus mix or brown gravy mix
1 pkge of corn bread mix…I use Marie Cavenders
1 Tbsp real bacon bits
1 1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder

What you do:
*In a large skillet cook your beef and pork…drain it… stir in the corn…water and au jus mix or gravy mix…bring to a boil for 1 min. then spoon into 8 in greased square baking dish.
*Prepare your corn bread batter according to directions…stir in bacon bits, garlic and pepper..spread over meat mixture.
*Bake uncovered 400 degrees for the amount of time your corn bread mix says… check with toothpick
